A general rule of thumb when sizing the appropriate breaker for your application is to use 10 pounds for each inch of material. A 40-pound breaker, for instance, is a good fit for 4-inch concrete. A 90-lb breaker would be used to break 9-inch concrete. The BR45 is light to medium duty breakers for work in the 35 to 55 pound class around the globe.
